Micro Focus: Enables the change of focal planes independently of the surgical microscope. In many intraoperative situations critical focus of the video image is shifted anteriorly or posteriorly therefore, a correction of focus is essential. Separating the video focus from the microscope and gearing down the mechanism facilitates ultra fine focus during microsurgery without shifting the surgeon's microscope.
